With all the super ships launching with their inaugural and maiden voyages, I hope the inaugural of Silversea's newest ship the Silver Spirit is not overlooked.  This is an amazing ship, with fantastic features and creature comforts but a small ship.   That's great actually.  As a small ship you can visit ports that the larger cruise lines can either not get to because of various harbor features (depth, dock, etc.) or if they could get there, the ports infrastructure and city can not handle the amount of passengers that would disembark.

So its the smaller ships and those passengers who have been to the more visited ports that often seek these lesser visited but none the less equisite ports.  Often times the smaller ships can even go up a river many miles rather than docking at the sea terminal.

Then again, there are all the benefits of Silversea from outstanding service, 5 star cuisine, fantastic wines, and large suites which make Silversea a cruise line the experienced cruiser should certainly notice as the Silver Spirit makes its maiden voyage in March, and its inaugural world cruises in 2010.
