Rhodes and Roads

Rhodes is a fabulous port of call for many of the Eastern Mediterranean Cruise lines.  This winter we were fortunate enough to have a port call there.  Winter in the mediterranean is well not really winter the way those on the US Mid Atlantic think about winter.  This photo from our stay there speaks to the idyllic nature and winter beauty.  The ability to stroll throughout the old city, drink coffee and just relax or take in the culture and history of this pivotal center.  History includes the Knights Templar, Mehmet II, the Spanish influence.  Its all there including an amazing network or underground tunnels, fortifications, and great people.  You can even book a B&B built right into the wall of the city.
