Moselle River and the best Riesling!

While the cruise on the AMAWaterways Amacello was simply fantastic traveling east to west on the Mainz, Rhine, and Moselle Rivers, the wine both on board as well along the Moselle was simply sumptous.  I especially liked looking for, finding, and tasting Rieslings that are from vineries that are simply too small in volume to export to the USA but are outstanding in quality and taste.

Well my pick was actually two, the Graacher Himmelreich 2007 and the Doctor from Bernkastel, which I later found out is beginning to export to the USA in limited quanties.  For a list of all the Rieslings I tasted and how I rated them, send me an email.
