How low can it go?

Categories Yesterday I saw a headline that implied how long would the parity with the Euro last.  I did look and saw a rate of 1.06 dollars per Euro and thought back not too far when it was $1.50 at times. 

What this does in the short term at least is make traveling in Europe where the Euro is used the least expensive it has been in many years.

Add to the reduced fuel costs which have finally been reflected in the airfares, and taking that European vacation or trip should be back on your bucket list.

Then some countries such as Portugal, Spain and Greece are currently experience an economic downturn making them even more delightful on the pocket book to visit.

And finally since most tour operators negotiate their tour prices the year before so then can print and advertise, them the Euro was already lower last year at around $1.15 so the pricing for this coming year was going to be better already.  Now we can see some of those companies offering promotions that leverage the even lower exchange rates they are able to utilize.
