8 New ships to debut by July led by Disney Dream

Weighing in at 128,000 tonnes, the Disney Dream will be the new flagship of the Disney fleet and is packed with entertainment for both young and old passengers. Innovations include the water coaster Aquaduck and high-end French restaurant Remy.

MSC Meraviglia
Expected February
The MSC Meraviglia will carry 3,013 passengers and is the fourth ship of MSC's Musica class.

Oceania Marina
January 22 (maiden voyage)
The largest vessel in Oceania's fleet will carry 1,258 passengers and six restaurants, along with a cooking school, an enrichment center offering on-board classes, a spa and a grand staircase crafted by Lalique.

Aida Sol
April 9 (naming ceremony)
Kiel, Germany
Carrying 2,050 passengers, the Aida Sol is the latest from young cruise brand AIDA. She offers plenty of room for the brand's resort-loving guests, as well as features such as a floating brewery and seven restaurants.

Carnival Magic
May 1 (official debut)
The 3,690-passenger vessel is the latest "fun ship" from Carnival Cruises, boasting the WaterWorks aqua park, an on-board pub with its own home-brews and the first ropes course at sea, featuring an above-deck net offering dizzying views of the water 45 m below.

Costa Favolosa
July 4 (maiden voyage)
The Costa Favolosa will carry 3,000 passengers and weighs in at 114,500 tonnes. She features a 4D cinema, a 23,000 square foot (2,317 square meter) spa, a Grand Prix driving simulator and a poolside cinema screen.

Celebrity Silhouette
July 23 (maiden voyage)
The Celebrity Silhouette will be the first in the industry to offer customers the opportunity to grill their own dinner, at the ship's on-deck Lawn Club Grill restaurant. Other innovations include a high-tech hideaway for guests and the line's famous Celebrity iLounge, an Apple retail outlet at sea.

Seabourn Quest
June 20 (official debut)
Barcelona, Spain
The newest ship from the Yachts of Seabourn weighs in at 32,000 tons and carries 450 passengers, continuing Seabourn's tradition of opting for smaller, more intimate ships. She offers an 11,400 square foot (1,059 square meter) indoor/outdoor spa, four restaurants, six bars and longest and several open terraces.
