Emerald Waterways
First, every Emerald ship has two single cabins available. These are designed for the single traveler. They are smaller than the regular size cabins and will only have a single bed. In addition, if you are or will be part of a group that we have reserved space on, we generally get options for up to two single supplement fee waived on two cabins of any category in our group. Exceptions for the Owners One Bedroom Suites and Grand Balconies.
Tauck River Cruises
Solo Travelers enjoy Special Savings in Category 1 Cabins – No Single Supplement on all European River Cruises in 2016! The single price in Category 1 is the same as the double price, which means savings of up to 50% for solo travelers on every departure of every European river cruise! We have not see but expect this to continue in 2017.

Regent Seven Seas
Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers select sailings on which single guests pay a lower additional fare as compared to standard single supplement fares. They have 6 select cruises which feature special reduced single supplements in select suite categories. Contact us for the current list and pricing. Subject to availability at time of booking. We have generally seen the fares at 125% and sometimes 110%.
Royal Caribbean
Royal Caribbean has entered into the market introducing single cabins on their Quantum Class of ships, where there are 28 dedicated studio categories, and Harmony of the Seas has two categories but only 15 total cabins. So the key here is book early and have your travel agent establish automted cruise watches.
Seabourn
Seabourn’s standard single supplement is 75% of the double, but they often have guarantee fares which are 50%. A Guarantee fare guarantees the cabin type or better but does not get assigned till later in the process as they see how sales have progressed.
Other cruise lines will offer occasional promotions on single supplements. The best way to see these is your friendly travel agent who can create watch lists for promos, and generally gets them before they are available to the public. At times we get promotions which are exclusive to our agency.
