Greenbriar Resort demonstrates real peace dividend!
The Greenbrier always had a “secret” mission back in the good old days of mutually assured destruction from Nuclear war. It was where many of the government officials such as your congressman might head to hide out till things cooled off.
It’s always been a great resort but due to its sort of isolation had troubles after the cold war.
Now they have gotten the OK from the state and are changing it somewhat with direct flights from New York and Atlanta into Casino and Resort. Opens July 2nd for the big casino which will be underground to add a bit of flavor of the past. You can also play through a nuclear event. Read on for a great description.
Call us to book your event there.

What It Takes to Keep a City Afloat
In One Day, the World's Largest Cruise Ship Prepares to Set Sail, with 700 Tons of Supplies, 80,000 Beers, and One Bagpiper.
This is a copy of an article originally in the Wall Street Journal written by Sarah Nassauer with credits to others as well.
I thought it would not only be educational for all of us but give a greater appreciation for what happens behind the scenes. And yes it practically is a city. When you add the crew in you are close to 10,000. You don't have a lot of private vehicles operating on the ship like a city but there are lot of things moving around in many other ways.

Why hasn't the snow melted?
Its been over two weeks since the big one hit. Why hasn't it melted yet, after all this is Washington DC and if the climate isn't moderate there is always lots of hot air from our elected officials. I just found the cruise for me, and if this snow is gone by this weekend I'm going to get on it.

On why use a travel agent
Stole this quote from a fellow cruise planner Ms Wolf. She quotes Newsday from 17 January but it is her personal way of responding to the myth that travel agents are more expensive then on line, when in fact its the opposite. I added a challenge at the end.
